This blog has been created to raise awareness and celebrate those affected by Paraplegia.
My daughter, Autumn, is the reason we celebrate.
Born at just 28 weeks gestation, Autumn had suffered a stroke to her spinal cord in utero. She is paraplegic and wheelchair bound.
She celebrates life in every way.
At just 18 months old, she has proved that mobility issues do no affect our passion or inspiration for life. It is up to us to change the way we view the world around us. It is up to us to see the beauty in all things. It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful, at least not perfect in society's eyes.
We are establishing a National Paraplegic Awareness Day in honor and memory of all those living this dream and have fought before us.
Will you help us celebrate the beauty in life regardless of where you view the world?
Lets raise awareness together and spread the word.
